Are YOU ready to accept the challenge and measure yourself against the one of the greatest biathletes of our time, Johannes Thingnes Bø? The JTB Challenge is a fun series of different, biathlon inspired shooting challenges.
Take a look at the videos, print out the targets from our website and give your best try. Then you can share your results in social media. Tag us, Lapua @lapua_ammunition & Johannes @johannesbo. Give us a follow to see how others are making it in the challenge!
You can upload your results here to our website and take part in Johannes Thingnes Bø Challenge Giveaway! To participate in the giveaway, please fill in the form below. You need to write your name, country, email, address, phone number (necessary for prize shipping) and t-shirt size. The giveaway winners will be contacted by email separately. We will pick the giveaway winners among all the participants. Note that we never share your personal information with any other third parties except the ones needed for prize shipping purposes.

Challenge 1 “Speed”
How fast can you hit all five biathlon targets? Can you beat Johannes Thingnes Bø’s result? Who’s got the fastest trigger finger? You can shoot real biathlon targets or print out our printed version from our website. You’ll need five targets next to each other. The distance is 50 meters/yards and the preferred caliber .22 LR.

JTB Challenge contest rules 2026
The winners are selected by Lapua. Each time Lapua chooses 1-3 winning entries based on the current challenge theme. Detailed rules:
- Materials submitted to the contest must be taken personally by the contestant and the contestant must have copyright to the materials at time of submission.
- The contestant must be over 18 years or above residing in a country with current Lapua products distribution.
- The contestant can do multiple entries per challenge.
- By submitting the materials to the contest, the contestant agrees to give Lapua the right to publish the winning contestant’s name and country together with the winning materials in separate posts on any / all Lapua’s digital platforms. Lapua will contact the contestant separately for any other potential publication needs.
- If there are any persons visible in the submitted contest materials, the contestant is responsible for confirming written consent of participation in the contest of said persons.
- If/when possible, refrain from showing other commercial brands or logos than Lapua in the contest materials.
- To be able to win, the contestant must submit a real first name and last name, email address, street address (no P.O. Box!) and phone number with area code. The submitted contact details are only used for shipping contest prizes and are not shared with any third parties except for the used shipping company such as UPS or DHL. Lapua withholds the right to repick the winner if the contact details mentioned above are insufficient.
- The prize is an assortment of Lapua branded promotional items.
- Chosen materials may be used in the personal use of the submitting contestant, but not in any commercial or promotional use by any other industry related brand.
- Any copyright or other similar infringement issue(s) caused by lack of or faulty information and/or guarantees provided by contestant is the sole legal responsibility of the contestant.
