The Lapua Hunt App has just received an update designed to enhance your hunting experience with smarter tools, clearer insights, and improved teamwork features. Whether you’re tracking game or coordinating with your hunting team, the new version ensures that every moment in the field is guided by reliability and innovation.
New App features
1. Animated location sharing indicator
The updated Lapua Hunt App introduces an animated location sharing indicator that clearly shows when your position is being shared. Users can now easily access detailed information about the available location sharing options: Offline, Anonymous, or Team.
Upon app launch, you’ll be prompted to decide whether to continue sharing your location in the same mode as your previous session.
Activate or adjust your location sharing anytime via Menu → Teams.
2. Teams with a time limit
When creating a new team, the owner can now set a time limit for how long it will remain active. Once the chosen end date and time pass, the team will automatically expire – keeping your team list tidy and your active groups relevant to your current hunts.
3. Easier way to join teams
Team owners can now copy and share the team code directly from the app through text message, email, or any preferred messaging platform. This streamlined process makes joining teams fast and effortless.
4. Angle from compass view to calculator
You can now measure an angle directly in compass view and transfer that value instantly to the calculator.
