The Lapua sponsored Finnish Biathlon Orienteering Team and great success in the Championships
Finland was the most successful country with 3 gold, one silver and 2 bronze medals.
The winner of Sprint/Individual competition was Jouni Heinonen.
The Classic/Individual competition was again won by “Mr Biathlon Orienteering”, Mikko Hölsö.
The third championship was taken in Relay by the Finnish men (photo). The women´s team got silver in the Relay competition, and bronze in the Sprint/Individual competition by Sari Suomalainen, as well as bronze in Classis/Individual competition by Maria Latvala.
