Gold and silver to the Finnish teams
Finland finished second after Norway in the military standard rifle 3×20 team competition, World Champion Jussi Puustinen shooting a new personal record and being by far the best shooter of the competition with his result 585. In the individual competition Jussi scored 581 and finished third gaining the bronze medal.
The Finnish team won gold in rapid fire pistol 3×20 with the total of 1733 points, Marko Räsänen being the best shooter with score 587. In the individual competition Marko finished second with the score 579.
Two more silver medals for the Finnish team were achieved in the rapid fire rifle and centerfire pistol team competitions.
