World Benchrest Championships 2011 in Volmerange les Mines, France
162 Benchrest shooters from 17 countries came together to compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze Team medals and share shooting techniques and learn many new BR shooting skills.
Lapua Team´s Jack Neary broke the WBSF Heavy Varmint 100 Meter World Record (4.064mm/.1600″ aggregate) with N133 powder and Lapua .220 Russian cases, and won the HV-100 Meter individual title.
Another Lapua Team member, Tony Boyer won the HV-200 meter individual title, and got Bronze overall (two gun aggregate). The overall winner, Gene Bukys, set a New World Record with Lapua´s .220 Russian cases and Vihtavuori N133 powder.
USA BR Team “A” took home the Gold Medal with the result of 5.881mm/.212″, also using Lapua´s .220 Russian cases and Vihtavuori N133 powder.
