Processing of personal data

The personal data in this register is used to organize the Lapua Hunt 2025 event by Nammo Lapua Oy. The names of the guests may appear to other participants in necessary matters during the event. The information will be provided as a list of participants for the means of acquiring a temporary hunting license, communication, travel, accommodation and catering arrangements or other needs related to the organization of the event. The register will only be used for the above mentioned purposes. Data will not be disclosed outside the EU and EEA, nor will it be disclosed for marketing purposes.

Information content of the register

The registration information related to the guests for the Lapua Hunt 2025 event includes the following information:

  • The person’s first and last name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Birth date and place
  • Passport Number
  • Organization and title
  • Possible food allergies and special diets
  • Possible other issues to consider informed by the person

Information provided by the participant in the electronic registration form or otherwise.

Registry security principles

The data is kept secure and the register is handled with care. Access to the register is restricted to designated persons employed the following organizations by who need the information in the course of their event related duties:

  • Nammo Group
  • The accommodation (hotel)
  • Hunting license officials
  • Other event partners such as hunting association, transport and catering

The persons maintaining the register have a duty of confidentiality.

Right of inspection and right to request correction of information

Every person in the register has the right to check the information stored in the register and to request the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of incomplete information. If a person wishes to check or request the rectification of data stored about him or her, the request must be sent in writing to the data controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time limit set by the EU Data Protection Regulation, generally within one month. The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint against the processing of personal data with the supervisory authority.

Data retention period

Personal data will be kept for as long as is necessary to enable the data subject to register to the related event, as well as to enable the follow-up of the event, such as billing and the collection of feedback.

After completing the tasks related to the event, all electronic and paper documents containing personal data related to the event will be destroyed.
